Climb Cotopaxi:

Mount Cotopaxi in the Cotopaxi National Park is the second-largest mountain in Ecuador and its 5,897m (19,347ft) summit makes it one of the largest active volcanoes in the world.

Mount Cotopaxi is the most popular climb in Ecuador because of its stunning views of the crater at the summit and because backpackers with no mountain climbing experience can attempt the climb.

Climb Chimborazo:

Mount Chimborazo is the tallest mountain in Ecuador and the Chimborazo climb is non-technical, meaning you get a very high altitude without encountering sheer vertical walls that require technical skills like ice climbing.

The 6,268.2 m (20,565 ft) equatorial summit of Mount Chimborazo is also the closest point to the sun on earth. When measured from the center of the earth instead of sea level it is the highest mountain on the planet.

Itinerary:
Day 1: Arrival in Riobamba – Accommodation in Riobamba Basecamp (no meals provided)
– Gear check and paperwork

Day 2: Transfer to Cotopaxi Refuge at 4860 m in Cotopaxi National Park- Lunch and aclimatization

Day 3: Midnight start trek and climb to Cotopaxi summit – return to Refuge, breakfast, drive back to Riobamba

Day 4:
–Transfer to Chorreras lodge at 4000mts
– Acclimatization self-guided trails in Chimborazo National Park

Meals: Dinner and Breakfast provided

Day 5: Pick up after 10 am, Transfer to High camp at 5300mts ChimborazoNational Park – Dinner is served at 5 pm

Day 6: Midnight start Climb
Summit by 6-8 am, and then return to refuge
Breakfast is served, and then right after, return from climb Drop off: Riobamba
